“KINGSFOLD”這英倫老調，海牛甚是喜愛。

在《普天頌讚》裡，《耶穌生平歌》就是配上這調子作旋律。另一首能配這調子的是
I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say，唱起來亦甚感人。

同事鼓勵我以此調做個粵譯，花了一天，做了這個。

恩主輕聲曾對我講：「到我身邊得安歇
枕首於我懷抱裡躺　放低千憂萬念」
我趨近主前不掩飾　困憂衰竭倦疲
主恩中我尋到歇息　也因主恩歡喜
I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Come unto Me, and rest;
Lay down, thou weary one, lay down Thy head upon My breast.”

俯身飲飽能以再生　再不口乾欲裂」

《稚子的禱聲》之後，是否可重拾譯歌的動力呢？我也不知道。

但前幾天在臉書貼了這首英文兒童詩歌的MV後，真是愛它愛到不得了，將它粵譯的決心就更加大，於是沒理會版權之類的多餘問題就開動了！

由於是首兒歌，不想把它譯得文謅謅的，便加入了大量口語化句式，而且是從前未試過的多。
